Cocktail Sort gives the classic color-sorting formula a playful theme. Instead of water or balls, you are pouring colorful cocktail layers between glasses. Each glass holds stacked drink layers, and your goal is to pour them until every glass contains only one color — like a bartender organizing the perfect set of drinks.

How to play Cocktail Sort

The rules are simple: tap a glass to pick up the top layer, then tap another glass to pour it. You can pour onto a matching color or into an empty glass. A glass can only hold a limited number of layers, so you cannot overfill. Levels become harder as more colors and fewer empty glasses appear.

Cocktail Sort strategy

1. Free an empty glass early. Having a spare glass is like having a wildcard — it lets you stage temporary pours without committing to a direction.
2. Pour toward completion, not away from it. If a glass already has two layers of the same color, look for more of that color to pour on top. Completing one glass simplifies the whole board.
3. Do not bury rare colors. If a color only appears in one or two glasses, move it carefully. Losing track of a rare color is one of the fastest ways to get stuck.
4. Plan pours that unlock new options. A move that simply shifts a color without creating a new matching opportunity is usually not worth it.
